Welcome to the AKA-Lade Foundation, Inc., a philanthropic arm of Lambda Alpha Omega Chapter. AKA-Lade is a 501(c)3 organization that works in partnership with Lambda Alpha Omega to provide programs and services that empower communities in need. Our mission of community outreach provide resources that sponsor and promote programs in the areas of education, economic awareness, health/wellness, and humanitarian aid.

From scholarships for students attending post-secondary institutions, AKA-Lade Foundation supports programs that enhance the health, welfare, economic, and educational development of individuals and families; and promotes appreciation for the arts, our impact is local and global. We hope that you join us as an AKA-Lade Foundation program participant, volunteer, and donation contributor.

About Miss Fashionetta

The 2024 Miss Fashionetta Cotillion will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. This debutante cotillion is designed to prepare and support high school students for college and beyond. One of the only events of its kind in the Metropolitan Chicago area, the cotillion culminates in a series of educational and cultural activities that foster academic achievement and social responsibility. Proceeds raised from the event support programs and activities that empower communities and promote academic excellence. Funds are also awarded as college scholarships to help students secure access to higher education, one of the key components to success.
